The international airport Pulkovo (Russian: Пулково) is located about 10 miles (17 km) south of St. Petersburg.
The airport has two terminals: Pulkovo 1 and Pulkovo 2.
Pulkovo 1 serves national and some international flights.

Distance between Pulkovo 1 and Pulkovo 2 – about 0.6 miles (1 km). Those who plan to change flights in St. Petersburg, better to stay with one airline as the airlines offer transfer services between the terminals for their passengers.

Getting from Pulkovo to St. Petersburg
The international airport Pulkovo in St. Petersburg is served by public buses, shuttle buses and taxis. Most services operate between Pulkovo and the metro station "Moskovskaya" (Russian: Московская). One can easily get to the centre of St. Petersburg from "Moskovskaya" by metro.

The bus service "Airport Express" that used to operate between Pulkovo airport and the metro station "Pushkinskaya" (Russian: Пушкинская) located in the centre of St. Petersburg was terminated.
Shuttle Buses

Shuttle buses have no specific departure times. They leave as soon as all seats are taken. Tickets are sold by the bus driver.
From Terminal Pulkovo 1
Shuttle bus number 39 goes to the metro station "Moskovskaya". The bus stop is located at the exit of sector Б.

Taxi Services
A taxi ride from the airport to St. Petersburg is expensive. The fare shall be negotiated in advance.
Those who wish to avoid using the metro can take a public or a shuttle bus to the metro station "Moskovskaya" and hire a taxi there. Taxi rides within St. Petersburg are much cheaper.
Car and Car Rentals
To get to the centre of St. Petersburg from Pulkovo Airport by car head for the Pulkovskoye highway (Russian: Пулковское шоссе) and then for the Moskowsky Prospekt (Russian: Московский проспект).
Pulkovo Airport has different parking areas: secure pay parking as well as free unsecured ones. Short-time parking (up to 15 minutes) is available at both terminals.
Europcar, Herz and Avis offer car rentals at both terminals of Pulkovo Airport.
