The summer residence of the Russian Tsars. Located 29 km west of St. Petersburg, Peterhof is famous for its wonderful park ensemble. The highlight of Peterhof is the Great Palace with the magnificent Great Cascade.

Hours of Operation:
The Great Palace
Tuesday through Sunday 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. (the box office closes at 5:00 p.m.)
Monday and last Tuesday of each month- closed

Lower Park
Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. (the box office closes at 4:30 p.m.)
Saturday & Sunday 9:00 a.m. – 8:00 p.m. (the box office closes at 5:30 p.m.)

Fountains
Monday through Friday 11:00 a.m. – 5:00 p.m.
Saturday & Sunday 11:00 a.m. – 6:00 p.m.

How to get to Peterhof:

- From Baltiysky Railway Station by train to the station "Novy Peterhof". Then by bus number 350, 351, 352 or 356.
- By speed boat "Meteor" from the Hermitage, the "Bronze Horseman" (Angliyskaya Nab. 4) or Cruiser "Aurora" (Petrovskaya Nab. 8)

The main summer abode of the Russian tsars and one of the most beautiful places just outside St. Petersburg. It is situated 25 km south of the city. The major attraction of the ensemble is the gorgeous Catherine Palace built in the style of Russian baroque. The world-famous Amber room, which was extensively restored for the 300th birthday of St. Petersburg in 2003, is located in the palace.
Tsarskoye Selo is also famous for its Imperial Lyceum, an education institution for young aristocrats. Alexander Pushkin was among the first graduates of the Lyceum.

How to get to Tsarskoye Selo:

- From Witebsky Railway Station (Metro Pushkinskaya) by train to the station "Tsarskoya Selo" (Pushkin), then by bus number 371 or 382
- From the metro station "Moskovskaya" by shuttle bus or bus number 287, then by bus number 371.
